The III annual intellectual game Elite Cup 2016 for the students of secondary schools of Astana was held on January 20, 2016. The purpose of the intellectual game is to help school children determine their future profession, improve literacy, enlarge knowledge about the specialties of the Higher School of Economics.

This year, 17 teams consisting of 4-5 people have applied to participate in the game. The program included a tour in KAZGUU University, presentation of the School specialties and educational programs, quiz in seven categories and final practical task.

At the end of the event all the rounds were estimated and jury selected the winners, who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. The winners were awarded with valuable prizes and certificates. Also, there was a drawing of 10% discount on tuition at KAZGUU University.

First place in the Elite Cup 2016 intellectual game was obtained by the team “Friendship” from gymnasium №67. This team is ranked 1st for the second year in a row. The pupils of the school-lyceum №53 took the second place. The 10^th grade students of school-lyceum №35 ranked third in the Elite Cup 2016. We express our sincere congratulations!
